Pool was nice

No kettle or tea.making facilities in room. Room a bit old, tatty and dated. Was clean enough however

Alone in the pool

No greeting drink. No breakfast/restaurant.

We’ve been staying at this hotel a few time yes we do like it but it has been second time now that the room fail on us. We booked family room this time and the light switch for the main lights doesn’t work so I had to cover towels and blanket over the bunk bed so that you it would make the bottom bunk less light when we couldn’t turn off the main lights. So the room needs some maintenance. Bathroom is quite small with the bathtub and showering makes it wet on the floor. Overall touch up on the rooms would have the resort looking nice.

Grocery stores, restaurants, fruit/vegetable market nearby. Decent breakfast. Separate pool towels. Safe in the room. Good sized beds. Ok pool. Free beach transportation 3 times a day.

Room was damp/wet and bathroom drains smelled really bad. Balconies in this hotel never hit the sun (which is ok in Thailand heat) but the problem was, as this hotel was so damp for some reason, that things you hang in the balcony never dry up. At all. We had a 4- person family room on the second floor and paid 80€/night which is way too much for it. Should be in the range of 30-40€/night and then the price/quality would match. Very much like 'Canary Islands' style hotel and its quality. Balcony had visibility into neighbor balconies. No water cooker in the room. No reading lights. Old television. Some road, barking dog and rooster noises in the early mornings, but with ear plugs sleeping works fine. Beach transportation takes place 3 times a day, which is great, but it always takes you to the same beach (south, near the center) which is one of the worst beaches in Khao Lak (crowded). No 'pick-up taxi system' in Khao Lak so you will always need to negotiate taxi prices. Over priced taxis to and from night markets. Dangerous walk on the main road. This place works better if you rent a motorbike.

Quiet location back from the main road. Large room with very comfortable bed Had a balcony overlooking the pool nice place to sit in the evening

When they say water only they mean it no coffee making, cups, spoons etc. Stair case only with no porter to help so if you have heavy cases expect to struggle

WiFi signal is not good

Good value for price paid. Good to have a swimming pool. Very large rooms. Provided a kettle (on request).

Lack of facilities; it would have been nice if there was a lounge/bar and a small shop. Nice balcony could have been much improved with comfortable seating. Breakfast choice was not wide, a very helpful and cheerful chap cooking eggs went some way to make up for this.

Second stay in this hotel which is comfortable with a nice pool.

the first time we stayed in the hotel, we had a room by the pool, which was better. Stairs a bit hard to climb (as elsewhere in Thailand ;-) )

People always sitting by the pool front of our room.... Not good. No mosquito net so we cant leave the window open and the air con is very loud... So we found it difficult to sleep.

Nice staff and quiet location

The room wasn’t very clean and smelled damp. It was in an obvious renovation. We were the only souls there, the front desk guy had to drive to 7-11 for ice.

The rooms were very nice with a sitting area looking out onto the pool. The pool was clean and well maintained. No ladder out of the pool on half the pool access side meant we had to walk across other rooms to get to ours. But overall a nice experience.

Staff wasn’t always very friendly (front desk) and housekeeping was slow. Breakfast was very basic.

Quiet place, nice pool, breakfest ok, clean rooms. For this price the hotel is good, everyone who wants better and more new hotels has just to pay more and should not whine about every thing when they get a cheap hotel.

Check in was hard, there was a guy who couldnt speak one word english, not even yes or no. And he talks thai to you so this was the only thing for me whats realy bad at this hotel because a easy check in took a time over a half our.

The staff were very frindly and helpful and the rooms were decent sized with a pool view. The free shuttle they offer to the beach is really helpful and means the distance from the beach isn’t really such a big issue

Spacious rooms, reasonable breakfast, clean, swimming pool is okay. Free transfer to one of the beaches / Khao Lak town.

About 5 km away from town and beaches. Can use refurbishment.
